  1. I am thrilled beyond measure to read about this new advocacy group at Queen’s. I had the privilege of hearing Dr. Weisberg speak passionately, knowledgably, and eloquently at a Queen’s-sponsored weekend event last year. And I wished so much that there would be local follow up. And now there is. Thank you to you compassionate, decent, and wonderful people, who are likely already way too busy with your own professional lives to take on more work. But it’s definitely the right thing to do. Surely Gandhi was right in believing that the moral compass of a society can be measured by its treatment of its most vulnerable.

I’m not an academic but would love to get involved. Are your general meetings open to the public? Is there is a forum to become a member, anyway? Please let me know.

Thank you so much. I look forward to supporting you in ways you deem to be valuable to your mandate and campaigns.
