Do PETA’s sexualized ads work?

According to a new study (“When Sex Doesn’t Sell: Using Sexualized Images of Women Reduces Support for Ethical Campaigns“), the type of campaigns used by PETA is not really effective. Showing sexualized images does not lead to more support for the cause, and may in fact have adverse effects.
